The solvent content of these products which gives it its longevity has an instant reaction to moisture /water before the curing period of 10 – 14 hours. This means that during that period if it rains or the temperature drops moisture can settle on the sealer coat/film and give it a ghosting effect or whitening effect, sometimes on darker substrates you may not see it as a ghosting effect but as a colour diminishes for example Black coloured products can look grey. Artificial/fake grass and pet problems – As a guideline we would suggest that you clean your artificial/fake grass at least once a month as mentioned above removing debris and leaves and cleaning with our SWISS-SEAL ARTIFICAIL GRASS CLEANER to keep it looking and smelling great. Depending on the number of pets you have and their grass usage, clean the artificial/fake grass more regular to avoid urine smells building up. A lot of issues can be avoided if the artificial/fake grass has been fitted properly and drainage has been applied correctly. If your pets moult be aware that this can cause blockages to the artificial/fake grass breather holes so make sure you rake or brush regularly.

To keep the jet wash concentrating on the substrate make sure you have a whirlybird attachment. It will save a lot of time, effort and keep all around clean and dry including yourself. Keep pets away until surface is fully dry: Remember, if it is blocks you have just cleaned then you will need to replace the sand between the joints. This is generally dried kiln sand bought from a builder’s merchant or D.I.Y store. Once this process is done and cleaned then the next job is to protect the cleaned surface from the problems mentioned above.
