Michaela Jamelska or the ascent of a tech entrepreneur consultant: Our implementation strategy relies not only on the innovative capabilities of the software platform but equally on our valuable front-row experiences and the lessons we’ve learned in the industry,” states Michaela Jamelska. “The world is facing what the World Bank has called the “worst education crisis in a century,” in that younger generations are progressively losing interest in education. What’s more, the education industry is lagging behind other sectors in many aspects of innovation, although education is undoubtedly a key driver for future innovation. The reality of limited technology access for women is a big issue in 2023 says Michaela Jamelska: Education plays a crucial role in promoting women’s participation in the technology industry. To overcome the existing barriers that create a digital gender divide, it is essential to develop innovative and customized education programs and edtech solutions that meet the specific needs of women and girls worldwide. This requires consistent funding and a global commitment to implementing these changes.. These changes can equip women with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the technology industry, bridge the digital divide, and advance their careers. In conclusion, technology has the potential to be a powerful tool for advancing women’s rights, but it is not a silver bullet. We must work together to address the underlying systemic issues that perpetuate gender inequality, and ensure that everyone, regardless of gender, has equal access to the benefits of technology. Only then can we truly achieve gender equality and create a more just and equitable society for all.
Michaela Jamelska about Ai and Gender Equality: While the new approach is better, it is not ideal, as it often relies on data sets mainly from open-source frameworks, which eventually exhibit biases. Another unaddressed challenge published by Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence is that multimodal models can result in higher-quality, machine-generated content that’ll be easier to personalize for misuse purposes. So, it is utopian and unrealistic to think we can have unbiased technologies with multimodal training systems, as even we human beings are not free of bias. However, our bias and habits can be lessened by providing diverse data and information. An advantage of AI is that it uncovers and mirror back to us some of the biases that humans hold. Furthermore, the new algorithmic accountability policies stress a prioritization of public participation to develop more democratic and equal systems. It is just recently that Amsterdam and Helsinki launched AI registries to detail how each city government uses algorithms to deliver service. The registry also offers citizens an opportunity to provide feedback on algorithms and ensure that these AI systems play in favor rather than against society. This is hopefully one of many steps towards using AI to achieve gender equality.
Michaela Jamelska regarding the innovative 5G trial to boost business : WECA obtained £3million of government funding to test how the region can handle with all the benefits of 5G technology. Its ultra-reliability and low latency is expected to increase the connectivity level and impact on the public sector to try new ways of delivering services and explore new commercial opportunities. Ports are fundamental to the global economy, transporting up to 90% of the world’s goods. Drones-based technology is quickly becoming a regular tool in the ports and logistics industry. Unmanned Life, with its software for autonomous robotics, is unlocking the full potential of drones in Ports and will improve safety, reduce costs, and enhance process efficiency, making UK ports a reference in the world. The West of England Combined Authority (WECA) has secured over £3m from the Government to test how the country can seize the full benefits of 5G and help businesses harness the power of modern technology. WECA’s 5G Logistics project programme will develop 5G products and services to support operations at Bristol Port and Gravity Smart Campus and demonstrate a smart and dynamic port environment. The project will focus on security, traceability, and real-time tracking of goods within and across extendable virtual boundaries – and between public and private networks.
It’s important not to over-idealize the current reality and use it to submerge the virtual world. Undoubtedly, a huge challenge lies in front of us as a society regarding how to ensure our rights are respected in the digital world. Figuring out which laws apply in digital spaces, data privacy consents, and other human rights-related issues will be complicated. As long as corporations are in charge of providing the Metaverse, commercial interests will be asserted into our virtual lives. To start drafting human rights guidelines and frameworks at the moment, when the Metaverse isn’t fully functional, may be difficult, but in the end, creating a Metaverse isn’t only about the programming. The White House has already started to initiate the AI bill of rights to “clarify the rights and freedoms of individuals using, or subject to, data-driven biometric technologies.”
This past week our team has been everywhere at once from Down Under to Europe. We have been asked to attend high-profile events to showcase our technology, and this speaks to the value of our software, innovation and capacity to execute globally. We enable industries to be fully autonomous through our one of a kind AI for Autonomy-as-a-Service software Platform. It is the uniqueness of our technology that interests companies like Telefonica, Deutsche Telekom, Sprint, Accenture and Governments in the USA, EU, Singapore and South Korea amongst others to look to us for help with important sectors like 4G / 5G Telco-enabled services, Supply Chain / Logistics, Public Safety, Transport and Infrastructure. We are also focused on expanding in Asia, which is why in the past seven days we’ve had numerous business missions with strategic partners and customers and very high-level meetings in Singapore, Australia and with the South Korean Government, which are all vital to our continuing traction.
Michaela Jamelska regarding the future of Air Mobility in Europe: The GOF2.0 Integrated Urban Airspace VLD (GOF2.0) very large demonstration project will safely, securely, and sustainably demonstrate operational validity of serving combined UAS, eVTOL and manned operations in a unified, dense urban airspace using current ATM and U-space services and systems. The demonstrations focus on validation of the GOF 2.0 architecture for highly automated real-time separation assurance in dense air space including precision weather and telecom networks for air-ground communication and will significantly contribute to understanding how the safe integration of UAM and other commercial drone operations into ATM Airspace without degrading safety, security or disrupting current airspace operations can be implemented.
While Metaverse has stirred up quite a lot of backlash, and some opinions are rather discouraging, some benefits may be seen. The Metaverse world will offer endless possibilities to reinvent yourself and build the world you want or immerse into the world you like. Within the Metaverse world, you can choose from millions of worlds without physical boundaries or the material and distance limitations we face in the real world. Humans are dreamers, inventors, and creators by nature. With Metaverse, we will feel like superheroes, which is why, despite its criticisms, Metaverse will work more likely than not. The Metaverse has the potential of offering endless opportunities to individuals who often find it difficult to assimilate in the real world. Introverts, creators, and people with extremely high IQs may find Metaverse highly stimulating, as they are in charge of not only their own actions, but the environments around them as well. This type of world could also introduce a new way of treating mental health conditions such as anxiety, which often spark from the overwhelming feelings our surroundings impose on us.
